Althafen Foundation Benefit Concert at the Berlin Philharmonie
The Foundation's artistic director, Belarusian-American cellist Mark Prihodko, will be joined on stage by American-Korean pianist Ben Kim (winner of the ARD International Music Competition) and the Alinde Quartet (portrait artists at the Cologne Philharmonie).

Together with our partners, we have curated a multidisciplinary program to enrich your summer experience in Berlin.

Emerging Artists Series: "Tonhain Kollektiv"
Emerging Artists Series at the NOACK Bildgiesserei & Galerie, the concert features the Berlin based Tonhain Kollektiv. The program includes works by Haydn, Beethoven, and Penderecki, along with the world premiere of a piece by Leonard Disselhorst, offering a distinctive musical experience with a cello trio.

Emerging Artists Series: "Alinde Quartett"
Emerging Artists Series at the NOACK Bildgiesserei & Galerie: An evening of music by Franz Schubert and Josquin des Prez, beautifully performed by the Alinde Quartet, offers an ideal way to celebrate the arrival of spring. Renowned for their nuanced yet commanding interpretations of the romantic repertoire, the quartet is committed to recording all of Schubert's quartets. The concert will also feature the world premiere of Marc Migo's String Quartet No. 2 "Sardana - Quodlibet".

Emerging Artists Series: "Nürnberg Bass Quartett"
Emerging Artists Series at the NOACK Bildgiesserei & Galerie: four exceptional double bassists from Nürnberg Bass Quartett will come together to celebrate iconic music from the last century. These talented musicians, who frequently perform with orchestras throughout Germany, will showcase pieces by Dvořák, Bruckner, Piazzolla, Barber, and Freddie Mercury, making it a memorable evening of music.
