Mission

FESTA 2025 reimagines the classical concert as an interactive experience grounded in folk heritage. By highlighting the influence of oral traditions on Western music, the project creates new points of entry into the chamber repertoire

Led by Alinde Quartett, the program features works by Monteverdi, Schubert, Mendelssohn, and Grieg—interwoven with live narration and interactive storytelling. Directed by Beniamino Borciani and performed alongside Alexander Wanat and Leonardo Larini, each concert blends music and spoken word to build a shared narrative space

Initial concept development for FESTA 2025 began, inspired by the vibrant atmosphere of European village festivals. Alinde Quartett, in collaboration with Freunde und Förderer der Kammermusik NRW e.V., shaped the project to merge high-caliber classical music with storytelling, performance, and interactive audience engagement.


2023

Repertoire curation and program structuring took place, with a focus on folk-inspired works by Monteverdi, Schubert, Mendelssohn, and Grieg. The involvement of actors and narrators was planned to enhance the concert experience through spoken word and theatrical elements.


early 2024

Casting and finalization of artistic direction under the leadership of Beniamino Borciani, alongside performers Alexander Wanat and Leonardo Larini. Rehearsals with musicians and narrators commenced to integrate music and storytelling into a cohesive performance. Previews and test performances in select venues to refine the concert format and optimize audience interaction. Venue confirmations in Italy and Germany were secured, ensuring a seamless touring experience for FESTA 2025.

mid-to-late 2024


Official launch of FESTA 2025, with performances across Italy and Germany. The project aims to engage diverse audiences by reviving historical folk traditions within a classical music framework. The tour incorporates immersive elements, allowing attendees to experience a concert that transcends traditional formats.
