Metamorphosen Berlin Orchestra: Seasons Reloaded | Berliner Philharmonie

  • Berliner Philharmonie 1 Herbert-von-Karajan-Straße Berlin, BE, 10785 Germany (map)

The big anniversary concert is about the theme ‘Seasons Reloaded’. Metamorphosen Berlin presents the seasons across the centuries, starting with Vivaldi's famous Winter from The Four Seasons, via Piazzolla's famous tango concerto ‘Seasons of Buenos Aires’, Schubert's Winterreise, Tchaikovsky's October and June, to a world premiere by one of the most famous new composers, Christian Jost. Guests include star soloists such as the singer Roman Trekel, the string trio Klangrausch and young ‘rising stars’ such as Luka Coetzee, who just won the prestigious 1st prize at the International Paulo Cello Competition in Helsinki and the youngest soloist of the evening.
