As part of the Kölner Philharmonic "Portrait" series dedicated to Wolfgang Rihm, the Alinde Quartet appears in a unique configuration. With The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, under the baton of Duncan Ward, the Alinde Quartett performs Rihm's 2000 "Concerto" for string quartet and orchestra, and brings out the vibrant energy of Eastern European folklore with Bartók's "Pictures from Hungary".
