The Graduate Fellowship is a specialized program in partnership with outstanding educational institutions that promotes academic excellence, open to postgraduate students with significant potential in global leadership.
We aim for our fellows to excel academically and develop projects with a lasting impact on global communities while advancing their careers.
eligibility & procedure
To support a fellow's academic and professional development, the scholarship is awarded through a partnering university, while the Project Accelerator streamlines the planning and execution of a fellow’s project.

Each year, 20 graduate students are nominated by partnering universities. Candidates from all disciplines and professional backgrounds are considered, provided they demonstrate:
Academic excellence and professional achievement
Strong global leadership potential
Non-profit or community engagement
Active involvement in extracurricular or cross-disciplinary initiatives

Althafen Fellowship is granted to one fellow per academic year. The fellow is selected by the members of Althafen Foundation’s Honorary and Advisory Boards based on the applications submitted by nominating universities.
The scholarship is awarded through the fellow’s host university. The recipient begins their academic program.

Throughout the fellowship, the participant is invited to pursue a collaborative or independent project, supported by the Project Accelerator Program, which streamlines planning, execution, and strategic positioning together with the Graduate Fellow.
