The name for the Alinde Quartet was a song by Franz Schubert. Now the four Schubert take as a starting point to get fine threads up to the 20th century. Together with key artist Dmitry Ablogin, they devote themselves to the quintets of Schumann and Schnittke.
For their current recording project, the recording of all Schubert string quartets, the members of the Alinde Quartet received the highest praise from critics and the audience. Schubert is also the prelude to her promising Cologne concert: Schumann's lively quintet in E flatt they present here with the subtle pianist Dmitry Ablogin on the hammer piano. It will be no less exciting to experience the quintet of the polystylist Alfred Schnittke with this more vocal instrument compared to the modern concert grand piano.
