Mission
Rooted in the legacy of Nadia and Lili Boulanger, the Boulangerie Concert Series invites audiences into the creative process through dialogue and performance. The series fosters active listening by connecting historical repertoire with contemporary voices in a space shaped by curiosity and exchange
Approach
Held in venues across Berlin, Hamburg, and Vienna, each event pairs live chamber music with moderated conversations led by the Boulanger Trio. Programs are designed to highlight artistic intent, historical context, and emotional depth—creating a welcoming environment for shared reflection and discovery
Impact
Now in its second decade, the series has introduced audiences to a broad range of living composers and helped shape a more accessible, dialogue-driven model for chamber performance. Its success has influenced similar formats across Europe, reinforcing the role of conversation in deepening musical experience
